In this version of Murder On The Orient Express, a remake of the original and based on the Agatha Christie novel of the same name, a lavish train ride through Europe quickly unfolds into the thrilling mystery of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, where everyone is a suspect. One man must race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again.

Oscar nominee Kenneth Branagh (Henry V) directs.

In addition to being nominated for the Best Director Oscar for Henry V, Kenneth Branagh has also been nominated for Oscars for Best Actor (Henry V), Best Supporting Actor (My Week With Marilyn) and Best Screenplay (Hamlet) and Best Short Film (Swan Song), making him the only person in Oscars history to be nominated in 5 different categories.

The original Murder On The Orient Express was released in 1974 and featured a lavish cast of stars, including Albert Finney, Lauren Bacall, Ingrid Bergman, John Gielgud, Sean Connery, Vanessa Redgrave, Anthony Perkins and Jacqueline Bisset to name just a few.

The remake does not boast anywhere near as a fine of a cast, but includes Penélope Cruz, Judi Dench, Kenneth Branagh, Daisy Ridley, Willem Dafoe, Johnny Depp, Josh Gad, Derek Jacobi and Michelle Pfeiffer.
