The movie Bohemian Rhapsody is a chronicle of the years leading up to Queen’s legendary appearance at the Live Aid (1985) concert in 1985.
Rami Malek stars as Freddy Mercury alongside Mike Myers and Ben Hardy. Malek is relatively unknown to movie audiences. He had a role in Steven Spielberg’s HBO miniseries The Pacific.
Bohemian Rhapsody director, Bryan Singer, was replaced three weeks before filming ended by Dexter Fletcher. Reportedly, Singer was MIA for a couple of weeks, blaming his absence on ailing parents. But sources say he was on a drug bender. British director, Dexter Fletcher, is best known, perhaps, for directing the 2016 movie Eddie The Eagle.
